I am a visionary leader that loves to create change!
You may find me advocating for improved race relations and education across Canada, teaching in a post secondary class, or telling stories through technology. I have a Masters in Multimedia Communications, and a passion for the greater good. I was recently awarded Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue Magazine, and performed a TEDx Talk on creating change by engaging in about difficult conversations.
I am the CEO and founder of Canadian Cultural Mosaic Foundation, a non-profit organization working to improve race relations that I have led since 2009. I also currently work at The City of Calgary, and do various independent contract work as an artist, professor and digital communicator. I previously sat on the Government of Alberta's Anti-Racism Advisory Council, and spend a lot of time investing in my communities through volunteering.
During my time off, I like to spend time with my children and husband, and when possible travel and learn from other cultures.
